How many times a week should my company post?

Atualizado em 22 de julho de 2026

There's no magic number. The right frequency is the highest one your company can sustain with quality, every week, without breaking. Consistency beats volume: a lighter pace kept up for months yields more than a flood of posts followed by silence.

Consistency beats volume

This isn't just our opinion. In direct guidance from Meta to our own operation, the advice we received was the same: regularity outweighs raw publishing volume. It makes sense from the audience's side too. Anyone following a brand builds a habit around predictability, and anyone who disappears for weeks has to win back attention every time they return.

The classic mistake is treating frequency as a calendar target: the team forces itself to post a fixed amount, quality drops to hit the schedule, and the profile fills up with weak posts. A weak post isn't neutral; it teaches the audience to ignore the brand.

The guideline: goal and real capacity

Instead of a number, ask two questions:

  1. What's the goal? A brand that needs to be remembered in a long decision (real estate, machinery, a recurring service) plays a game of constant presence. A campaign with a deadline, like a launch, calls for higher intensity over a short period. Different goals, different paces.
  2. What's the real capacity? How many good pieces can the company produce per week without sacrificing quality or operations? That ceiling is your frequency. If the answer is few, better few and good than many and mediocre.

Two levers boost capacity without inflating effort: reusing the same material in different formats and choosing formats the team already masters. If you're torn between betting on volume or on pieces that actually work toward the sale, read the difference between video that sells and video that looks nice. And when the pace needs to go up without the in-house team keeping up, the design goes through strategy before the calendar does.

In practice, in the countryside

In the companies we work with in the Northwest of São Paulo state, the bottleneck is almost never ideas; it's routine. The owner or the team starts out excited, posts at a high pace for a few weeks and stops once operations get tight. What works in Birigui, Araçatuba and the region is the opposite: set a modest pace that fits the company's real week, with a recurring topic drawn straight from the shop floor, and sustain it. A profile that shows up every single week, without fail, becomes a local reference long before any big campaign.

If you want to set a posting pace your company can actually sustain, reach out on WhatsApp and we'll design that calendar with you.

Does posting every day make a profile grow faster?

Not necessarily. What matters for the algorithm and for the audience is regularity, not raw quantity. Posting every day for two weeks and disappearing for a month yields less than a lighter pace kept up all year.

Is it better to post little or hire someone to post a lot?

It depends on the real capacity to produce good content. High volume with weak posts wears down the brand and confuses the audience. If a hire happens, it should be to sustain a pace with quality, not to inflate the calendar.
